Dr. Luis Tollince, MD

Dr. Luis E. Tollinche is a board-certified anesthesiologist and currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology and the medical director for perioperative services at a local hospital. He also serves as Professor of Anesthesiology at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine. Previously, he held academic and clinical appointments at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York for nearly 15 years. He is a leader in quality assurance and patient safety and has a special interest in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Dr. Tollinche has authorized dozens of articles in peer-reviewed publications and carries an extensive resume that includes clinical research and has served as principal investigator on many active Institutional Review Board protocols. Dr. Tollinche earned his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed an internship at Carney Hospital of Tufts University School of Medicine and his anesthesiology residency training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital of Harvard Medical School. He is currently completing a Masters in Public Health from the University of Florida. Luis resides in Cleveland with his husband Peter and their two young sons. He enjoys running and traveling in his spare time. Dr. Tollinche is excited to serve as Igia’s medical director.
